As a New Zealand brand penetrating the United States market, Silver Fern Farms needed to increase brand awareness and foster an engaged community of hyper-targeted fans in order to increase sales and distribution. fishbat leveraged B2B digital content strategies to generate retail leads and increase the number of stores carrying the product. On an ongoing basis, we also engage with consumers through social media, email marketing, and PPC advertising that is geo targeted to retail location availability. Additionally, we collaborate on design work for ecommerce PPC advertising for social, YouTube, and Google. Our social media engagement increased 75% overall which positions Silver Fern Farms on display in front of some of the food industry’s largest consumer demographics. Additionally, we achieved a 565% increase in page likes on Instagram and Facebook in one calendar year.
As a well-known and established wholesale brand, Lands Downunder was looking to enter the D2C market and position itself as a lifestyle brand. fishbat worked with the team to develop a new visual identity that captured the lifestyle of the brand as well as refined messaging to emotionally connect their audience. Through creative storytelling and visual design, we positioned the brand as a luxury lifestyle highlighted in social media and email marketing. Through these efforts, fishbat was able to increase Lands Downunders’ social followers by 160%, brand impressions by 166%, and brand engagements by 1773% in just one quarter alone.
To grow the love and consumption of macadamia nuts in the United States, the World Macadamia Organisation partnered with fishbat to tell the story of macadamia nuts. We cultivated a community of avid consumers by developing a movement that educates consumers on nutritional facts, promotes recipes (for more than just cookies), and speaks to a health-forward audience about these delicious little nuts. The story of macadamia nuts generated over 44.5 million impressions at below-industry average CPM. Additionally, fishbat built out a multi-level marketing partnership program that encouraged macadamia nut brand owners, retailers, and wholesalers to become movement advocates for cross-promotion–spreading the love even further. In doing so, we have increased the volume of mentions of macadamia per month by 2986%!
Tastefully Plated was looking to penetrate the market with its new, fresh frozen meal concept. With innovative clear packaging, customers were able to see the meals before they purchased them, unlike other competitive brands on the market. To prove the concept, Tastefully Plated launched its Originals Line of fresh frozen meals in several hundred stores in the Southern California region. In an initial 3-month campaign flight, fishbat was able to tap into an audience with an expressed interest in healthy food and lifestyle, reaching over 800,000 individuals and driving over 7,000 location finder searches, demonstrating product interest and purchase intent. After success with the Originals Line, fishbat helped Tastefully Plated increase retail distribution of its Naturals and Paleo Lines, available at Target and Walmart stores across the country.
