According to the “fishbat Splash” video published on July 11th, Facebook made headlines again this week with the launch of its highly anticipated search engine. Graph Search, which finally rolled out to users in the US on Monday, is designed to give users easier access to information they want. With Graph Search, users can ask questions like, “Which of my friends like ‘Game of Thrones’?” or search topics like “my friends who like fishbat.”

However, it also raises some privacy issues for individual users. “Certain pictures that you may have thought were private might still show up in Graph Search,” he says. “If a friend tags you in a picture in a public album, people can still see those photos when searching for pictures of you. If you are worried about what people can see, you might want to start looking through your tagged photos to see if they are in any public albums.”
The video also discusses Instagram’s new embed feature. “Finally, Instagram users are able to embed photos and videos to social media profiles or on websites,” Darrohn says. “Social media agencies will be able to better promote brand content by easily embedding media onto pages. This feature is long overdue and I’m sure it’s going to be very successful.”
